Middle School Mission Trip

NASHVILLE 2025 Application

WHEN: June 9 - 14, 2025
WHERE: Nashville, Tennessee
WHO MAY APPLY: Students completing grades 5 to 8 by trip dates.
COST: $500/person ($50 deposit at time of registration after application is approved. )
DUE DATE: Applications are due by Sunday, December 8!

Students Living A Mission (SLAM) is a sub organization that stems from Global Outreach Developments (G.O.D.) International. SLAM Mobilizes Students To Live A Mission In Imitation Of Jesus Christ By Serving The Poor And Underprivileged Through Community Service.

The Middle School Mission Trip to Nashville will provide students intentional opportunities to obey God's command to love their neighbor by serving those most in need and engaging those that may otherwise be ignored (Luke 15). In Nashville that means caring for the kids, elderly, and newcomers to this growing city.

The Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Mark 10:45 

Through this serving experience, students will gain awareness of the needs that exist for impoverished people in the United States. Students will invest their time and energy for the benefit of those who cannot do for themselves. In the process, they often realize how much they have to give! Our middle school students will get a taste of what it means to live a mission, wherever they are.

The mission is to follow Jesus, and model our lives after his. Our desire is that this mission trip will help our students develop into lifelong imitators of Jesus regardless of their age or context.

Start the application process by filling out the Middle School Nashville Mission Trip Commitment/Application form below. A paper version of the application form is also available at the StudentLife Center (SLC). If using a paper application, please submit it to Pastor Aaron or one of the Middle School leaders.

Each applicant will go through a review process to be selected to go. Many factors will go into the acceptance process including age, involvement, maturity, readiness, and commitment.

Applications are due by December 8!

Families will be notified about acceptance by December 15. The next step will be to submit the non-refundable $50 deposit and the registration forms and waivers as soon as possible or at the latest by December 31.
