Missions support and Child Sponsorships at Christian Life Center is above and beyond our normal tithes. This is our offering and it is what helps support missionaries all around the world and children in Eswatini, Africa. These partnerships would not exist without your help.

  • I was leading the high school youth group at Potters Wheel Church here in Mbabane. It was a unique group made up of nationals, missionaries and expats. Because of apartheid, there was great division in trying to start a youth group. For months we had strategically tried everything to get various groups to intermingle. This night came right as we were starting to see growth and teachability. I remember preaching fire in a way that I had never preached before. At the end, I asked the students who was willing to finally make a stand for Christ. To my surprise, all 70 students rushed to the front crying, ready to fully surrender to Christ and to represent Him at their schools! They literally ran to the front and didn’t care who was watching them! That was over 10 years ago. Still to his day, the youth group is called The Stand. Praying that God will use this sermon to ignite something beautiful in the hearts of all those who hear it!

  • I’m currently in the language-learning phase of my ministry, and have only officially been “on the field” for less than two years. But I can share that the church I am a part of here (which is both international and local) has recently seen amazing growth. Young people of this country are coming to Christ, having their lives transformed, being baptized, and seeing friends and family members drawn to the Lord through their decision. Others face persecution from family members who seek to prevent them from going to church, but many of them stand strong. They are being rescued out of depression, despair, broken relationships, and suicidal thoughts and even attempts. They are filled with joy and love for God’s rescue and redemption. Several have begun writing worship songs in their own language. The Holy Spirit is moving among the young people of this country, and we are rejoicing to see the fruit!

  • We have a basketball ministry and we were able to conduct a basketball camp in Mongolia in which just over 100 young players attended. Through that camp experience, 65 young people came to the Lord, making first time decisions for Him! We praise God for our partnership with CLC and are ever so grateful for the prayer and financial support.

  • Recently someone from our fellowship shared this story with me. She is the only child in a Buddhist family. She returned to her home town during the last days of her father’s life. After his passing, she stayed to comfort her mother and continued to remain with her until one day her mother, who is a devout Buddhist, said to her, “I can see how much Jesus has changed your life and how you miss your Christian friends. I think you should go back to them, I will be okay.” This was such a breakthrough after years of resistance to the gospel and the beginning, my friend believes, of her mothers journey to Christ.

  • A very abbreviated and beautiful story of how my wife and I ministered to an Uzbek Muslim woman in Tajikistan. My wife led her to the Lord and we began to disciple her. She began sharing Christ with her family, but they weren’t really interested. Then, they married her to a man in a nearby village who was very abusive to her and she was also abused by his whole family. She was the only one with a job and the only one to provide. She wanted to be a mother but couldn’t conceive. Probably because she was under so much stress, got little sleep, and was very malnourished. This husband ended up divorcing her because she couldn’t get pregnant. Normally, this would mean she would be shunned by her family and community. But her father and mother took her back in. Within a few months, she was married again to another man. But this time she prayed that God would send her the right husband. She led her husband to the Lord, then she led her whole family to the Lord. Then, she became pregnant and actually now has four beautiful children. We helped her to plant a church in her own village and this church has now multiplied to other villages surrounding the area.

Child Sponsorship Initiative

Christian Life Center proudly partners with Challenge Ministries in their Child Sponsorship initiative throughout the In Community, by Community (ICBC) sites. At each of these ICBC sites, there is a dedicated preschool where every sponsored child receives not only essential schooling but also uniforms and a nutritious meal to support their growth. This collaboration aims to provide a solid foundation for the children's futures. Sponsoring a child is one more way to go above + beyond.
