COMPASSIONFIRST Volunteer Opportunities:

Sorting of donated items. Delivery of goods to people, churches, and organizations that have needs. Pick up of goods from donors and transport to COMPASSIONFIRST building. Administrative assistance. Partnership liaisons.

Donations are accepted:

Monday-Saturday, 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. at CLC Little York donation stations to the right of the driveway Y and south of the Student Life Center. **For large donation drops contact Outreach at 937-898-8811 ext. 204.

1st Saturdays of each month, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. at the COMPASSIONFIRST building located behind the Student Life Center.

All donations should be clean and in good repair.

COMPASSIONFIRST collects and distributes gently used clothing, household goods, and personal care items freely. This ministry has helped thousands of people in the past several years in local, surrounding communities, and even around the world. This God-sized work has been miraculous in the ways it has brought people together, often having exactly what is needed at the perfect moment, God’s timing.

Our Role

To be a conduit of God’s grace and mercy; to be a place where things that are freely received are freely given to those who have a need.


Clothing/shoes must be clean and in good condition, not torn or have broken zippers. Kitchen/household items, such as, small appliances, pots, pans, silverware, towels, sheets, etc. Items must be clean and in good working order. Personal care items. Baby items. School supplies. Books and media must be wholesome and family friendly, in good working order. Toys must be in good repair, clean, and complete.
